Slow Sofa by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra
The Slow Sofa brings the airy, suspended comfort of Vitra’s iconic Slow Chair to a compact two-seat design. Introduced in 2025 by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, it uses soft Flocca bouclé stretched over a tubular steel frame to create generous comfort without the visual bulk of a traditional upholstered sofa.
Loose cushions make it an inviting place for reading, conversation, or relaxing, while its light weight allows it to be repositioned easily. The Slow Sofa is Vitra’s smallest sofa and works especially well in apartments and other spaces where comfort and a lighter visual presence are equally important.
