PH Artichoke Glass Pendant by Louis Poulsen

Poul Henningsen’s PH Artichoke Glass was launched by Louis Poulsen in 2008, drawing on ideas from his earlier PH Septima glass pendant. Its handmade sandblasted glass leaves give the iconic Artichoke form a lighter, transparent expression while producing soft, comfortable illumination.

The fixture uses 72 precisely positioned glass leaves arranged in 12 rows of six. Their sandblasted surfaces diffuse the light and help create the glare-free glow for which the PH Artichoke is known.
