Fornasetti Acquario - Ink Wallpaper by Cole & Son

The fish theme appears in some of the earliest Fornasetti work having the artist been fascinated by the dichotomy of marine life’s simple aspect hiding a fascinating, mysterious nature within the depths of the ‘aquarium’. Picked for their whimsical and naive appearance, Acquario’s clownish fish creates a unique and striking wallcovering.

Showcasing the intricacies and reoccurring curiosities of Fornasetti’s fascination, this Cole & Son collection captures the wit, originality and boundless realm of the artist's visual language: from fantastical flying machines and mischievous monkeys, to classical architecture and the surreal appeal of everyday objects.
