The Story Behind the Gnome
In 1994, Hörl placed 1,000 blue garden gnomes throughout Seligenstadt, Germany, as part of Rolling Change. They appeared around town and gradually found new homes as people carried them away. The project was reissued in 2006; Sponti to Go brings that wandering spirit to a pocket-sized form.
