Wallpaper Care Guide

With proper care, your wallpaper can remain beautiful for years. Always follow the care instructions provided by the wallpaper manufacturer, as materials and printing methods vary by collection.

Cleaning

For washable wallpapers, gently wipe the surface with a clean, damp sponge or soft cloth. Avoid excessive water, abrasive cleaners, scrubbing, and harsh household chemicals. Work vertically along the wall rather than rubbing across the surface.

Printed Wallpapers

With some printing methods, a small amount of residual ink may transfer during the first cleaning. This does not necessarily affect the color or quality of the wallpaper.

Avoid Adhesive Tape

Do not apply painter’s tape, masking tape, or other adhesive tape directly to the finished wallpaper surface. Removing adhesive may damage the printed design or surface.

Bathrooms, Kitchens & Humid Areas

Wallpaper installed in bathrooms, kitchens, or other areas exposed to increased humidity may require additional protection. Depending on the wallpaper and installation location, a compatible protective varnish or sealer may be recommended. Please consult your professional wallpaper installer before applying any protective coating.

We recommend professional installation for all wallpaper. Your installer should review the manufacturer’s specifications and confirm that the wallpaper, adhesive, wall preparation, and any protective finish are appropriate for your space before installation.
