In 1997, Mathieu Challières left the world of big business to set up his own design venture. The French designer creates enchanting lamps and chandeliers all exquisitely handcrafted in his Parisian atelier. Each piece is individually made by hand, with style influences ranging from the baroque to the contemporary. Challières’ instantly recognisable La Volière collection incorporates delicate copper wire lamps with a menagerie of colorful bespoke birds for a whimsical aviary-inspired lighting centerpiece.
