Founded in 2021, BằNG is a Vietnamese furniture and lighting brand known for combining inventive ideas with exceptional craftsmanship and manufacturing.
Rooted in materials, process, and the atmosphere of the workshop, BằNG creates what it calls “Unboring Objects”—functional pieces designed to spark curiosity, invite interaction, and bring an unexpected sense of play to everyday spaces.
The name BằNG comes from a Vietnamese preposition meaning “made by” when referring to a process, or “made from” when referring to a material. For example, làm bằng tay means “made by hand,” while làm bằng sắt means “made of steel.”
This focus on how objects are made—and what they are made from—is central to the brand’s approach. Through thoughtful experimentation with materials, color, form, and fabrication, BằNG creates expressive furniture and lighting that feels distinctive without sacrificing function.
