Returns & Cancellations

  • Please log in to your account at the top right of this page to initiate a return.
  • We accept approved returns for standard items within 30 days. Occasionally returns may be approved if they are past the 30 day return window, but all such returns will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee and refund will be in the form of store credit, valid for one year from issue date.
  • All returns must be initiated through your customer account at the top right of this page.
  • If a pre-paid return label is requested, a fee of $7.95 will be deducted from any refund. Please note, not all items are eligible for a pre-paid return label in which case you are responsible for all return costs. This applies to larger items where return cost is more than the price of a return label.
  • At this time we do not offer exchanges on Izipizi and Caddis eyewear, we suggest purchasing the item you want and sending your return back for a refund.
  • Reading glasses and sunglasses may not be returned once the sticker has been removed from the lens and the glasses have been worn, even if labels, stickers and packaging have been saved or re-applied. If we deem returned eyewear to have been worn, the return/exchange will not be accepted.
  • Please note the following items cannot be returned or cancelled once order has been processed: Special order items, custom products, cut fabrics, upholstery, wallpaper, wallpaper samples and lighting products.
  • All special order items are clearly labeled as such on the product page. Lead times for these items can also be found on the product page, these lead time are estimates and may sometimes change due to production and freight delays in other countries, custom delays and other unforeseeable situations which are out of our control. We will immediately update you via email if your order has been delayed.
  • All special order items cannot be returned or refunded, sale is final.
  • All quoted delivery dates and lead times are estimates only and are subject to change at any moment as delays can occur in production, transit and customs.
  • Delays in delivery and/or extensions of quoted lead times does not allow for cancellations without applicable fees.
  • To cancel an order please contact us immediately. Once processing and/or production has commenced cancelling is no longer possible. Sometimes orders are processed and/or shipped within an hour of being placed.
  • All special ordered products are made and/or imported just for customer and 100% of the listed purchase price is due in full upon initiating such order. All Special Orders are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the purchase price if cancelled at any time after placed.
  • Wallpaper orders cannot be cancelled.
  • E-Gift Certificates are non-refundable, non-transferable, not valid under the Trade Program and will only be issued once.
  • All International orders are final and cannot be exchanged, returned or cancelled once shipped.
  • All returns must arrive to us in their original condition and original packaging, with all original tags, stickers and labels still attached. If items are used or not in original condition and packaging, no refund will be issued and items can be reclaimed by contacting us within 30 days and paying a return shipping fee.
  • Returns must be pre-authorized.
  • Prior to returning any merchandise, please initiate the return process by clicking link at top of this page.
  • We cannot accept returns without a Vertigo Home issued RMA number.
  • Returns arriving to our warehouse without pre-authorization and a Vertigo Home issued RMA number, but in resalable condition, will incur a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges surrounding the order will be deducted from any refund.
  • Important: Do not ship your items back to the original shipping warehouse as many items are shipped from various and/or foreign warehouses. If packages are simply refused or sent back "return to sender" without a Vertigo Home RMA number, we may not be able to locate or refund your return. If located we will deduct all shipping fees and any restocking fees assessed by the receiving warehouse.
  • Orders that are unclaimed or undeliverable and left with UPS or Fedex might not be returned to us and therefore we can not issue refunds for such orders. If returned to us, any refund will be less all shipping charges incurred and a 25% restocking fee.
  • All Vitra and Artek brand products are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • All returns over $1000.00 will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred.
  • All returns over $500.00 but under $1000.00 will incur a minimum 15% restocking fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred.
  • All cancellations over $500.00 will incur a 10% processing fee, this is to recover various fees associated with cancelling and refunding an order after it has been placed and paid for, incl. credit card processing fees.
  • Returns must be properly packaged, fully insured, trackable and sent to: Vertigo Home, Attn: Returns, 1278 Glenneyre St #102, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. You are responsible for the returned items until delivered at address above.
  • Please note we cannot credit or refund you the cost of any shipping charges. 
  • Shipping charges originally paid by Vertigo Home will be deducted from your refund.
  • Please allow up to 7 business days for processing your return.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • In the unlikely event your item arrives damaged or defective, Vertigo Home will replace the items or, in the event replacements are not available, issue a full refund.
  • Please inspect all orders upon delivery.
  • Damages and defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for a refund or replacement.
  • Digital pictures of damaged items may be needed.
  • Wallpaper Disclaimer: Responsibility of wallpaper installation is entirely yours. All information on installation is provided in good faith, but without guarantee, as site conditions are beyond our control. Please make sure you notify us of any defects or faults prior to installation. We cannot accept responsibility for any defects, faults or damages after the wallpaper has been installed.
  • For freight shipments, please thoroughly inspect the entire shipment and make a note on the delivery slip of any damage to the exterior or the contents of the shipment. Any damage must be marked on the delivery slip. If you are unable to inspect the contents of the shipment at time of delivery, please mark "Damaged / Further Inspection Pending" on the delivery slip and notify Vertigo Home within 24 hours.
  • Unfortunately, we will be unable to honor any damage claims if damage to the package is not notated on the delivery slip at time of delivery and if we are not notified within 24 hours of any damage. If damage is found, it is necessary that all contents and packaging of the shipment is held until the claim is finalized.
