Ali Wallpaper by Flavor Paper
Ali is a hand screened wallpaper based on original Warhol Polaroids of Muhammad Ali taken in 1977 as part of Warhol’s ‘Athletes’ series. Warhol managed to capture a powerful shot with the boxer’s fists poised, ready to punch as well as a rare sensitive and joyous image of Ali. Utilizing a monoprint technique where four people paint into the screen and then print, each Ali is unique creating a wall of original art in homage to two true groundbreakers – Warhol and Muhammad Ali – and features both the butterfly and the bee in the great Ali.
