Being educated at the academy of art and design in ‘s-hertogenbosch, the netherlands, my special interest is the crossover of both disciplines. In my work I’m always searching for this aspect.Looking at a good design can move me as much as a good painting can. In that way there is no difference between art and design. I believe that people are more comfortable when surrounded by beautiful, recognizable design from earlier days.
