Jakob Wagner is one of Scandinavia’s foremost designers at present, and he is one of only a handful to have exhibited at some of the biggest museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York with the Propeller Trivet from Menu.
Jakob Wagner earned a degree in industrial design in 1993. His simple design language, with sleek, Scandinavian lines and discrete, functional details, speaks to both professional designers and consumers alike. Jakob Wagner received various honours and awards for his innovative, functional design, and he is the man behind several of Menu’s most popular products, including the world renowned propeller trivet and the Vignon series of wine accessories. Jakob and Menu can now add yet another design award to the list after their water carafe with its discrete flip-top lid received the prestigious Red Dot “Best of the Best” Award in 2009.
